Motivated IT support specialist (all genders)

We are looking for support for our Product Development and IT team. As a student assistant (all genders), you can gain valuable professional experience alongside your studies, with flexible working hours, while contributing to our forward‑looking field of remote language services.

We work with organisations across a wide range of sectors (B2B and B2G) and support institutions such as hospitals, NGOs, city administrations, schools and kindergartens, public authorities and organisations in the asylum sector in Germany and Austria.

We help non‑German‑speaking people communicate effectively and overcome language barriers quickly, securely and reliably through remote solutions.
Your responsibilities
  • Preparing hardware and handing it over to end users
  • Creating, maintaining and continuously improving IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting guides and process documentation
  • Troubleshooting and resolving IT requests via email, phone and TeamViewer
  • Administration and support of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Managing and troubleshooting a hybrid Active Directory environment
  • Supporting on‑call services
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to continuously improve IT services
  • Administration of the office network infrastructure (1110 Vienna)
Your profile
  • A strong affinity for IT, ideally with prior experience in IT support, administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 environments for end users
  • Good knowledge of hybrid Active Directory structures
  • A structured and analytical working style with the ability to narrow down, identify and resolve issues in complex environments
  • A customer‑oriented mindset and a calm, confident approach even in challenging situations
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to participate in on‑call duties

  • Working hours: 20 hours per week in a permanent part‑time position

The collective agreement minimum gross salary for this position is €2,461.58 per month (based on full‑time employment). Willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience.
