  • SAVD services used: Video remote interpreting

Challenge

In our facilities, we support people experiencing homelessness, many of whom are not from Austria and speak a different native language than German. Especially in social work contexts — for example with applications to authorities or legal matters — communication is often difficult. While multilingual staff members help bridge some gaps, they are not always available and cannot cover all required languages.

Solution

SAVD’s video remote interpreting supports social workers flexibly and based on their needs. This allows conversations to be conducted with high quality, ensures that concerns are clarified reliably and helps overcome language barriers immediately.
Client satisfaction increases, staff feel relieved and the time required for communication is significantly reduced.

Customer review

Trust built through experience
