“In psychiatry, language and facial expressions are indispensable means of communication. Although our clinic employs many people with different foreign language skills, we increasingly have patients who we literally ‘don’t understand’. In order to be able to help these patients quickly, we use video interpreting from SAVD. This also means that extensive therapy discussions can be coped with. Patients experience this as a great help and the staff are relieved of the effort to organize external interpreters. Video interpreting is an estimated support in the day-to-day life of our patients as well as for the employees of all professions.”
Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Anke Brockhaus-Dumke, Medical Director
