First name, last name, address, phone number, e-mail address, date of birth, title(s), qualifications, letter of reference/recommendation, resume, letter of application, sex, citizenship, answers to surveys, origin of the data, type and content of the contractual relationship |
External recipients of data | Applicants’ data are never forwarded to anyone outside the corporate group. Data are never shared outside of the EU. In-house data transfer, for internal use only, may occur in case of matching a suitable candidate and a suitable position. |
Storage period | Any data provided is erased after six months (pursuit of legal claims according to the Federal Equal Treatment Act), after the closure of the application process. This does not apply if an erasure is not permitted by legal obligations or if continued storage is required to serve as evidence, or if you have consented to a longer-term storage – for being kept on file for future recruiting opportunities. |

Revocation of consent and Right to object |
You have the right to revoke your consent to being kept on file with immediate effect at any time and without stating reasons. With this, the keeping of your file is immediately terminated. You have the right to object to our processing of personal data in our legitimate interest, where the grounds of Art. 21 of the GDPR apply. Data processing |
We do not process any sensitive (“specific”) data categories of our applicants. Among the sensitive (“specific”) data categories NOT processed by us are data that reveal racial or ethnic origin, political views, religious or ideological convictions or union affiliations, as well as genetic data, biometric data for unambiguous identification of a natural person, health-related data or data relating to the sex life or sexual orientation of a natural person. If you provide us with unrequested information Which contains sensitive (“specific”) data, this data is processed in line with the fulfilment of the contract (or the initiation of the contract by you). The primary goal of the processing of your data is a suitable employment or a freelance cooperation with SAVD. |
Rights of the data subject
Access by the data subject | The applicant has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning him or her are being processed. |
Rectification | The applicant has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning him or her. |
Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) | The applicant has the right to obtain the erasure of personal data concerning him or her where one of the grounds laid down in Art. 17 (a) of the GDPR applies. |
Restriction of processing | The data subject has the right to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the grounds laid down in Art. 18 (1) of the GDPR applies. |
Right to object | The applicant has the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her, based on a legitimate interest, where the grounds laid down in Art. 21 of the GDPR apply. |
Data portability | The applicant has the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. |
Right to lodge a complaint | Every applicant has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if he or she considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes this regulation.
